Teachers, employers and support
Become an Enterprise Adviser for young people with special educational needs
With your help, we can support young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to gain skills needed by local employers, so that when they leave education, they’re ready to work.
One of our dedicated enterprise coordinators will support you throughout and will ensure your experience is smooth, beneficial to your business and rewarding. There is no specialist training needed to work with young people with SEND, just your experience and time.
From volunteering as little as five hours of your time over a year, you really can raise the profile of your business and industry whilst making a huge difference to a young person. You'll decide with your partner school or college how much time to commit, making it flexible to your needs.
