Introducing students to the creative sector

The Year 7 Creative Toolkit is a superb way to introduce students to the Creative sector. Challenging misconceptions, inspiring them to assess their own skills and learn more about transferable skills, whilst learning about the different career opportunities in the sector and how they could become a part of it.

The resource is split between a series of engaging and informative activities focused on the journey into different careers paths, skills needed and putting them to use with the ‘Spotlight’ activity.

This activity showcases some of the key roles and pathways within the Creative Sector and gives students a chance to find out how they progress to a successful career within the industry.
