Resources to help you to develop a SEND Alumni Network
SEND Alumni are volunteers from your network of past pupils who themselves have special educational needs and disabilities. They are shining examples and role models, inspiring current pupils and raising their aspirations by being able to see people like themselves in further education or employment.
Below are a number of resources to help you to develop a dynamic and effective SEND Alumni Network for your school/college, enabling you to begin to use your alumni to deliver effective careers activities.
Each stage relates to a step in the SEND Alumni Network Model developed to help schools and colleges to develop and sustain effective practice.
The majority of resources are templates and “how to” guides designed to make the process as simple and time-efficient as possible.
