Overview/summary of training

On this course, you will cover the core competencies associated with MIG or TIG welding to provide you with essential skills and knowledge to build a successful career.

You will be offered an interview with an employer once you complete your course.

The course is delivered through interactive practical lessons, lectures and presentations developing practical skills of the welding process to Level 3, within one of the following areas:

  • Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welding   
  • ​Metal Inert Gas (MIG) Welding  
  • ​Manual Metal Arc (MMA) Welding  
  • ​Sheet Metal Work  
  • ​Fabrication Work  

Course completion will be dependent on passing the practical, theory and health and safety tests with City & Guilds unit accreditation part of the Fabrication & Welding Diploma.
